Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Rebate – Peninsula-SiliconValley
The Peninsula-Silicon Valley Incentive Project, funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC) as part of the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP), offers rebates in the following amounts for installations at new, replacement, or make-ready sites:
DC fast EVSE between 50 kilowatt (kW) and 99.99 kW
Maximum 75% of the total project cost, up to $60,000 in Disadvantaged Communities (DACs)
Maximum 75% of total project costs, up to $50,000 outside DACs
DC fast EVSE greater than 100 kW
Maximum 75% of the total project cost, up to $80,000 in DACs
Maximum 75% of total project costs, up to $70,000 outside DACs
Level 2 EVSE
Maximum $5,000 in DACs
Maximum 75% of project costs, up to $4,500 outside DACs
Level 2 EVSE (MUD)
Maximum $6,000 in DACs
Maximum $5,500 outside DACs
Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and applicants must reserve rebates prior to purchasing and installing EVSE. Eligible applicants include businesses, California Native American Tribes listed with the Native American Heritage Commission, or government entities. Qualifying installation sites must be located in San Mateo or Santa Clara County. DC fast installations must be publicly accessible 24 hours a day. Additional site requirements apply.
