South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)

The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) offers grants for the replacement of eligible class 8 heavy-duty vehicles with ZEVs. Grants may cover up to 75% of non-government project costs and up to 100% of government project costs; up to $2,700,000 total. Eligible vehicles include freight trucks, drayage trucks, waste haulers, dump trucks, and concrete mixers. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The program is funded by California’s portion of the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust.
