Electric vehicles are going mainstream in part because the industry is finally getting the ecosystem to support this transformation in mobility. The Electric Drive Transportation Association, EDTA, the veteran EV trade group, reported yesterday that in Q2 of this year, EVs were a record 7% of new car sales, and that EV sales were up 41% this year.
